  • We will have a quiz in a few days on: complete subject & predicate, simple subject & predicate, 4 types of sentences (declarative, interrogative, imperative, exclamatory), and complete/incomplete sentences, synonyms & antonyms. Reviews can be found on previous workbook pages and also at BrainPOP. (There are four to watch: Types of Sentences, Subject/Predicate, Sentence Fragments, Antonyms, Synonyms, & Homonyms.) We have watched them at school, but they are a great review. Our subscription to BrainPOP expires at 4:00 each day.)

  • Spelling skill this week: consonant y words (like baby) change y to i then add es for plural; vowel y words (like turkey) just add s for plural.
