Thursday - Friday:

By the end of break, students should be caught up with their re-reads of Chapters 1 - 7 in Skinnybones. (If possible - students should read aloud to someone at home for this novel unit rather than reading to themselves. This is a cute story that students typically enjoy sharing with someone. Please do not read ahead because we have some predicting activities to do. Students have a log to get signed after each chapter is re-read at home. Log will be due at the end of the novel unit.)

Wednesday:

Re-read Chapter 6-7 of Skinnybones. Please note that these are longer chapters, and I do not expect them to be read in one night. They are not due until after break so the reading can be spread out over a few days. (If possible - students should read aloud to someone at home for this novel unit rather than reading to themselves. This is a cute story that students typically enjoy sharing with someone. Please do not read ahead because we have some predicting activities to do. Students have a log to get signed after each chapter is re-read at home. Log will be due at the end of the novel unit.)
Finish journal entry about excuses if not done.

Tuesday:
